CLEVELAND, OH - March 13, 2008 - Insurance.com was presented with an award at MarketingSherpa's 3rd Annual Email Summit, taking Silver in the Best or most dramatic test results from Consumer emails.
The winning email demonstrated a significant improvement in performance, based upon lessons learned from previous MarketingSherpa conferences applied to a recent series of consumer emails. This is the third year MarketingSherpa has given awards for the best email campaigns.
"Congratulations to all the winners of the Email Marketing Awards! The contest this year was highly competitive. It was very difficult to pick the 40 winners from over 300 entries,'' said Jeanne Hopkins, Chief Marketing Officer, MECLABS Group. "We were amazed at the sophistication and inventiveness of the submissions and quite impressed with campaign results."
"This award is important because it reflects a campaign that is working well for consumers," said Karen Imbrogno, Customer Communications Manager at Insurance.com. "Winning Silver in this category is a clear indication that we delivered valuable information more effectively - a result made possible by our flexible test environment and talented marketing team."
