Tyler and Leavey put up their own money and went farm to farm to gain their first policies. By 1928, they were ready to open for business out of a one-room office in downtown Los Angeles.
Today, Farmers serves more than 10 million households with more than 20 million individual policies across all 50 states through the efforts of over 50,000 exclusive and independent agents and nearly 24,000 employees.
