Amica auto insurance: Overall verdict

Amica ranked No. 5 in our comparison of the Best Car Insurance Companies for 2026. It ranks highly for customer renewals, has a low complaint ratio and rose one place from No. 6 to No. 5 this year. However, rates are on the higher side, and it didn’t score highly for claims handling.

Amica is a good one-stop shop for most of your insurance needs, from car to home and life policies. But if you’re looking for a bargain on insurance premiums, it may not be your first choice.
